Plex server, issues and workarounds

 Problem: Every now and then on windows plex client refuses to launch, even though plex server is launched & working. 

Solution: 

1. Exit/kill all plex services (probably from the tray menu or task manager)
2. win key + R to open the run command window and input %localappdata%
3. Delete the Plex folder, not the plex server or plex media folder.
4. Now launch the plex media server and then the plex client itself, login and use it as usual

Problem: Plex asks for pin every time you launch it.

Solution:

1. Click on the wrench icon which takes you to settings
2. in the left panel, click on your username
3. Check mark, *automatically sign in* option
